Using The Cosori Air Fryer
Many air fryers come with preset modes for different types of food, which is something I’m a little wary of because no two dishes are quite the same. However, the Cosori Air Fryer does come with 100 recipes that work with these 14 settings, which include seafood, bread, bacon, root vegetables, and french fries.
The controls on the Cosori Air Fryer are easy to use. It’s digital and you can select from a setting and other buttons by simply pressing the touch panel. You can turn on the air fryer using the central power button. Then, it’s just a case of selecting your preferred setting and adjusting the temperature and time if needed.
Every time you touch a button the Cosori Air Fryer beeps, but the panel is responsive and it’s easy to start, pause and pre-heat. The controls are responsive and show the remaining time when you start the cooking process.
When you pull out the drawer mid-cook the air fryer automatically pauses, and will resume as soon as the drawer is back in place.
The Cosori Air Fryer comes with a large and informative instruction manual and recipe book
The handbook has a page on how to use the presets, which includes adjustments of time and temperature required for different food items. This lets you know which setting to use with meatballs, chicken wings, corn, frozen chicken nuggets and more.

Some of the other air fryers Ive tried have a variety of modes for different types of cooking such as grilling and roasting, but the Cosori Air Fryer sticks to simply air frying. It does this very well though, cooking frozen food, meat and veggies perfectly and reminding you to shake with the required modes.

On-off button and start button can get mixed up easily. I turned off the fryer after setting up temperature/time a few times, thinking I pressed the start button. Also, outside black is kind of dull black instead of shiny black. Not as pretty as I was imagining.
We bought the Cosori air fryer after spending much time and energy on research for what we needed for the two of us in the family. We found that we liked most everything the Cosori had to offer like ease of cleanup due to the removable inner basket and the non stick coating on inner as well as outer basket. The presets and shake reminder are very handy to keep us from over or undercooking the food inside. The AF is just the right size for our counter and isnt in the way when its not being used. We do have to pull it forward when we want to use it since hot air blows out the back of it while in use. So far it has been easy to use and were very happy with it. We would and have recommended this unit to our friends.

Setup Process: Connect And Go
In order to use the app, the air fryer needs the VeSync app installed. Since I already used that app for some smart plugs, the setup was even easier. As soon as I opened the app with the air fryer plugged in, the app recognized the fryer, it offered to create an icon just for the fryer , and it was ready to cook. It also offered to sync with Google Home, which I dont have. I wondered why it didnt mention Alexa, which I do have, so I said, Alexa turn on the air fryer, and it sprung to life. Well, that was certainly easy.
Before the first use, its suggested that the fryer be run empty through a preheat cycle and a steak cooking cycle. This familiarizes the user with the fryer and also burns off any manufacturing residue. Unlike other appliances Ive used, I didnt notice a burning odor when this was first turned on.

Cosori Air Fryer Toaster Oven
The Cosori Air Fryer is a top-quality appliance that can do much more than just air fry. It is a multifunctional toaster oven that can also bake, broil, and roast food. It does require some preheating so you cant start cooking right away after it reaches the desired temperature, but the cooking process is faster than most larger ovens. You can cook multiple dishes at once with this appliance which is great for those who enjoy cooking and want to save time.
The Cosori Air Fryer has a capacity of 2 liters or 2 quarts which is big enough for a whole chicken or a 12-inch pizza. It also comes with a rack that fits quite nicely inside, although it may be slightly difficult to pull out when loaded down with food. There are 3 cooking modes: bake, roast, and grill. Final Thoughts And Recommendation
I highly recommend the Cosori air fryer. I also previously owned the Power Air Fryer XL, Black + Decker, and the Oster Ceramic Air Fryer. They all work well and get the job done, but the Cosori will do it faster and with no peeling on the air fryer basket.

What Other Customers Are Saying
Of course, this review only covers one persons experience, so weve done some research on other reviews to summarize here as well. We read through Amazon reviews as well as hands-on reviews and videos posted elsewhere.
Reviews are overwhelmingly positive across the board. Cosoris air fryer hasnt been out a long time , so its difficult to say how this will stand up over time for users.
Negative reviews cite issues either right out of the box or after one or two uses, but there are always lemons, and it sounds like those customers received bad fryers.
A few other negative or neutral reviews mention problems with the baskets pulling them out of the fryer or separating them or with a plastic smell that wont go away. In either of those cases I would assume Cosori would replace the air fryer within the warranty period.
Using The Cosori Smart Air Fryer
You can control the Cosori Smart Air Fryer three different ways: with the buttons on the display, with the VeSync app, or by using Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant voice commands.
At the bottom of the app is a big orange Start Cooking button. Tap that to set the temperature and time, either manually or by using the preset options at the top, and toggle the preheat option. When youre ready, press Cook Now, and your selected settings will appear on the air fryers screen. The only annoyance is that when controlling the machine via app, you have to manually press the Start button on the air fryer for it to begin. Oddly, you dont need to do this when controlling it via voice commands.
When connected to Alexa or Google Assistant, you can control the machine with your voice using commands and queries such as, Air fry for 15 minutes at 400 degrees,Add 30 minutes to my air fryer,Pause my air fryer,What temperature is my air fryer set to, and When will the food in my air fryer be done. In testing, the voice commands worked perfectly with Alexa.
Most of the time, I find it easiest to control the air fryer via the touch screen instead of using the app or voice commands. The smart features are nice, but I dont always see a compelling use for them when Im already in the kitchen. That said, the touch screen and preset buttons on the smart model are extremely useful, and alone justify the $30 premium over the original model, which is controlled by a dial.

Cosori Air Fryer: First Impressions
The Cosori Air Fryer arrives in a large box and comes fully assembled and ready to plug in and go. It’s got a basket that sits inside a drawer on the lower portion of the fryer. You can slide forward a plastic panel to press a button and remove the basket from the drawer, which removes the basket full of your air fried food on the attached handle. The design is reminiscent of the Proscenic T21 Smart Air Fryer, but it feels less flimsy and the basket doesn’t hang off the handle quite so much.
The exterior of the Cosori Air Fryer is a stylish and textured plastic, and it’s available in black, white and red. My air fryer arrived with a sticker on top that warns you not to touch the exterior of the air fryer when it’s cooking because it gets hot to touch. I didn’t have any issues with this when testing though, and found the Cosori Air Fryer safe to use in the corner of my kitchen.
Underneath the body of the air fryer you’ll find two grooves to place your hands, which makes it easy to carry. It’s also very lightweight given how large it is, meaning it’s a good option if you want to store away from the kitchen and take it out when you need to use it.

Is a Cosori air fryer good? I feel like everyone is dying to know. And yes, you can make frozen french fries in the Cosori! If you had asked me earlier this year if I would give up my Power Air Fryer XL, the answer would have been never. It had been my favorite air fryer for quite a while.
I own a total of 5 air fryers now, and prior to Cosori, the Power Air Fryer XL was my favorite. I have had my Cosori for 4 months now and I have used it enough to be able to give it an honest review.
What Foods Were Tested In Cosori 58 Qt Review
Homemade Egg rolls! Everyone devoured these in minutes. The outside wrapper was crispy during air frying without all the oil and fat from deep frying.
Slider size and regular size burger patties and meatballs are perfect in the air fryer. Wow, they were juicy. Also, many of our ecoobook recipes were tested with the Cosori. You can buy the Air Fryer e-cookbooks here.

- The screws on the basket release button that holds the inner basket can occasionally get loose. We make sure to tighten the screws occasionally to make sure that the connection stays tight so the inner basket snaps together tightly to the outer basket.
- We wish the inner basket was made of ceramic because ceramic baskets wont wear as easily during washing. Ceramic baskets are the best! So far, both our Cosori non-stick baskets still look good and dont stick because were careful about soaking them first before washing. Or you can use perforated parchment sheets to help food from sticking and will prolong the life of the non-stick inner baskets. But if you are a strong scrubber, youll eventually start to scrub off the non-stick coating.
