How Would I Improve The Chefman Air Fryer Oven
None of the air fryers are perfect. This particular oven would benefit from a removable oven door. After a few uses, I could already see that keeping this pristine would be a challenge. These appliances are convenient and no one wants to have to maintain them. The oven door window is a nice feature. However, it wont last very long if it gets dirty.
The other thing that I think really could use improvement is the depth of the drip pan. For much of my cooking it did not present a problem, but roasting a chicken on the rotisserie generated a lot of drippings that accumulated in the pan. When it came time to clean it, it became difficult. Its not impossible but it could be improved.

On the other hand, the interior walls can be cleaned using a moist cloth and a mild liquid soap solution or a spray solution on a sponge.
Surprisingly enough, the Air Fryer Basket, rack, and Baking/Drip pan arent dishwasher safe. So, you must hand wash them in hot, soapy water with a non-abrasive sponge.

First, put the rack, pan, or air fryer basket in the appropriate position. Then, turn the Functional Dial to the setting you want. Next, select your desired temperature by rotating the Temperature Dial .
Then adjust the time to what your recipe calls for. The time can be set up to 60 minutes. Your food will be ready once the timer reaches OFF or when your appliance rings to indicate the end of the cooking cycle.
A note from the product manual says: When setting the timer or toast shade, always turn the dial clockwise beyond your desired time or shade. . And then turn it back counterclockwise to the desired time.

The Cuisinart Digital AirFryer Toaster Oven isnt compact by any means, but it is sleek enough to be left on the counter if you have the space. It looks like a countertop oven, and that works in its favor in the looks department. It is tall, which makes it easy to roast a 4-pound whole chicken. The oven fits underneath the cabinets without blocking airflow. It has a single door that drops down on the counter, which wasnt my favorite feature in the oven. Taking out the tray from the bottom rack position after cooking is tricky. There isnt much space to grab the tray with mittens on. I found pinch mittens worked better, but I had to pay complete attention to not scrape my hand against the hot door. The construction is lightweight and is easy to move around for cleaning inside and around the oven.
If you are sitting on the fence about whether or not you need an air fryer and toaster oven, this one is worthy of a shot.
