The instructions recommend you clean the top of the oven after each use. This part was simple. I washed the glass off after each use, too, as I noticed it was looking a little greasy. Heads up- the included baking pan is impossible to clean. I washed it as soon as it cooled, and as the picture shows- it was spotted with brown stains after the first use. Even worse the more it was used. The instruction manual recommends against using foil, which is my go-to in preventing stained baking sheets.

The rack and air frying basket are simple to clean, and I didnt run into the same problem of staining with these two. Soap and water removed all signs of use!

Using the bake feature, I noticed the temperature is hotter than my oven. Ive reduced the temp by 10-20 degrees to get the same results. After ruining the taste of a whole chicken , I recommend baking plain bread until the odor is gone.

Baking, Broiling:

The baking and broiling function I used to use a lot on my old toaster for baking chicken breasts, for example, broiling for melting cheese, making crostini, etc, but to be honest, I pretty much just use the air fryer function now in lieu of those two settings, again, because its so much faster than traditional baking/broiling methods. However, this model does have those if you want to use them!

Reheating:

I use the air fryer to reheat anything that was once crispyits absolutely AMAZING for warming up takeout. Youll never cry over soggy fries or wings again! However, I would not use it for reheating anything else that was not once crispy, such as soup, pasta, etc.

Warming:

I LOVE the warming feature even when Im not air frying. This comes in really handy if youre cooking things in batches on the stove, or if, say, I make two grilled cheeses and Neal is finishing up something and isnt ready to eat his yet.

It is larger than most air fryers, but it also functions as a toaster oven, convection oven, and broiler, so it needs to be able to hold different arrangements of food than most air fryers which are designed in more of a basket or bucket fashion.

The cooking chamber is large enough to hold a hefty amount of food.
