Roasting Vegetables In The Ninja Af100uk Air Fryer
Having made lots of protein and carbs in the air fryer, I decided I better cook some vegetables for balance. I chopped up some red onion, pepper and mushrooms and coated in one tablespoon of oil plus some seasoning. This tasty combination of vegetables is one of my favourites for adding to all kinds of hot and cold pasta dishes, but to achieve the lightly charred, roasted texture I like, can take an hour or so in the oven.
After flicking through the cooking charts, I guessed at 200oC for 20 minutes, which turned out to be spot on. The cooking pan was initially quite full and I gave it a good shake every five minutes to ensure all the vegetables cooked up evenly. I was super happy with the result, they had a beautiful lightly charred texture on the outside, but inside the peppers and onions hadnt gone too soft or soggy.
As the vegetables cook, lots of steam is emitted which vents out of the back of the air fryer. The vent points upwards, so I noticed condensation forming on the underside of the shelf above. This is easily avoided though by slightly altering the position of the air fryer next time.

1. HOW DO I CLEAN MY NINJA DIGITAL AIR FRYER OVEN?
a. Cook & Clean:
This is the best way to clean your oven and very simple as well because all you need to do it just put water inside popup reservoir, place cooking rack inside oven chamber and close door then press Cook + Clean button after turning unit on.
In one minute hear a beep sound which indicates cleaning cycle has started automatically so let your oven run through full cycle until beep sound again after which appliance will turn off automatically. Now open door, take out cooking rack and pop up remove from reservoir.
Rinse thoroughly with fresh water and dont forget to dry all parts before next use for better results. This type of cleaning makes sure that excess oil or food particles are removed from every nook and cranny inside appliance so always do this type of cleaning before storage or next use.
b. Hot Water:
If you dont want to use Cook & Clean mode for cooking and cleaning your Ninja Air Fryer Oven then you can simply boil some hot water in a pot and after it starts boiling take out from fire and place cooker on its feet which is inside cooker chamber and pour that hot water inside popup reservoir through handle side.
Leave it for few minutes depending upon time required to reach desired temperature as per instruction manual. Now open door, take out cooking rack and pop up remove from reservoir. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water and dont forget to dry all parts before next use for better results.
