This hardcover cookbook was created by Emeril specifically for the Power AirFryer 360. It includes full color photos, but no information is provided on number of pages or recipes.
Recipes cover a full range of dishes for appetizers, snacks, and any meal of the day. For more help with using your appliance, Emeril provides cooking equivalency charts, temperature cooking charts, and some instructions of how to use air fryer accessories.
The only complaints about this cookbook are that some recipes are not all that easy, and some are quite unusual . This isnt surprising since, after all, Emeril is a chef. Just keep in mind that if youre looking for a beginner cookbook, some of the recipes may not be what you expected.

Also note that several of his recipes require use of an air fryer pan for baking. If you dont already own one, its a small investment that you will not regret!
Like those 5 recipes in that PDF file, all of the above dishes use common ingredients and are reasonably simple to prepare. Its Emerils talent for choosing the perfect combinations that make them delicious and extra special.
To date these are the only Emeril air fryer recipes available and thats too bad because reading through these will make you wish that he would write his own air fryer cookbook!

Would I Buy It
I did a full test on the Emeril Lagassepower air fryer using a lot of the functions it offered. I would say that itdid quite well considering the range that it offers.
I think there is a lot to be said forhaving a larger oven in your kitchen. It does give you that much moreflexibility.
Nothing went wrong in my tests, on thecontrary it cooked everything welljust like the adverts I saw on TV!
I was very impressed with the air fryer function as this is principally why it was tested. Following this test, I also tested the slow cook function and a number of other things, like chicken wings, all of them performing well.
A downside is the extra things that youhave to buy, it would have been nice for them to include a few moreaccessories. They arent to expensive to buy so it wasnt a deal breaker but I justthink it gives the buyer more value while not costing them much at all.
Overall, I recommend the Emeril Lagasse power air fryer as a buy but only if you think you will make the most of the functionality it offers. If you dont need all those functions, you can spend less on a simple air fryer oven.

The Emeril Lagasse Power Airfryer 360 is at the center of a proposed class action filed this week that claims the appliance is defective and could pose a significant safety risk to users and their property.
According to the 57-page case out of Florida, the Emeril Lagasse Power Airfryer 360, 360 XL, Deluxe and Plus models are plagued by a serious and dangerous design or manufacturing defect that allegedly causes the appliances to overheat, catch fire or smoke during regular use.

There has been much confusion about one of Emeril Lagasses cookbooks. The title is Emerils Cooking with Power, and this is not an air fryer cookbook. As clearly stated in the books subtitle, these recipes were developed for cooking in a slow cooker, multi cooker, pressure cooker, and deep fryer. Thats it no air fryer recipes.
If youre familiar with air fryers you know that deep fryer recipes dont always work. For example, you cant use any kind of wet, drippy batter. To get that type of coating in an air fryer, you have to take a different approach, and recipes can be drastically different from what youd use for deep frying.

The lawsuit alleges the Emeril Lagasse Power Airfryers tendency to overheat and potentially catch fire is the result of a perfect storm of excessive heating elements, improper air circulation and a poorly designed drip tray.
According to the suit, the air fryers are designed and manufactured with five heating elements and a smart fan that Tristar touts as able to provide a whirlwind of super-heated air for even cooking. The case alleges, however, that the excessive heating elements and the fans failure to properly circulate the air inside the Power Airfryers allows them to reach temperatures of 537°C , well above the 310 to 360°C range considered to be the maximum for safe air fryer cooking.
The lawsuit goes on to claim that the Power Airfryers drip tray design unsafely allows food drippings to come into contact with the appliances bottom heating elements. Because Tristar emarkably instructs consumers to place the drip tray below the bottom heating elements, which do not have any protection above or around them, flammable drippings inevitably land on the heating elements while food is being cooked, the suit relays. This is particularly dangerous, the case says, given overheated cooking fats are known to spontaneously ignite when they reach temperatures between 310 and 360°C.
The lawsuit adds that if Tristar had installed an operational safety mechanism in its Power Airfryers, the devices would shut off when they became too hot.
