To get best results when air frying in the Cosori, the company suggests you preheat the fryer. Unlike many air fryers, the Cosori does not automatically go into a preheat mode when you program a time or temperature or select a preset setting. Rather, you press the preheat pad and then set the cooking temperature and the timer for 3 to 5 minutes in the manual it suggests preheat times for various temperatures. Although this is an extra step, you do know how long the preheat will take and after cooking, you can easily add more time if need be without waiting for the fryer to preheat again.
After the Cosori Smart Wifi Air Fryer is preheated, you place food in the basket and press the appropriate buttons. You can program in your own cooking temperatures and times or select one of the preset settings which suggest temps and times and then press start. You also have the option of customizing the presets so food routinely comes out to your personal preferences. For best results, its recommended that you shake or turn over your food halfway through cooking the Corsori conveniently beeps and flashes SHAKE when half the cooking times elapsed you can turn off the notification if for some reason you dont want to be bothered by the alert.

Yes, all of the Cosori air fryer sizes are easy to use . They all have an interface thats clear and easy to understand. Theres a button for selecting temperature and one for cook time. These are great for manual cooking where you can select your own temperature and time. We prefer using these because food comes in different sizes and thicknesses, so not all chicken, beef, shrimp or veggies cook the same. But theres also lots of time and temperature pre-sets available to cook different types of food. These are great for first timers so you can get an easy approximate cooking time and temp for your foods. After using the presets, you can either add more or less time based on your previous cooking times and your preferred doneness.

What Is The Best Air Fryer
The Cosori CP358-AF Pro Air Fryer is the latest release from Cosori. It has many of the same presets that we enjoyed from the original, but the digital control panel is elevated, which makes it great for ergonomic use and easy access.
What we like about it
The controls were easy to use in testing, and we enjoyed how adjustable the shake reminder and presets were. The toast setting is a new addition, and it comes in useful for morning muffins and croissants.
Another thing we enjoyed in testing was the basket. Its square shape means it is expertly crafted to fit cuts of meat and generous portions, even an entire chicken.
Cooking time was faster than in a conventional oven. So much so that our food was ready as much as ten minutes ahead of schedule.
Fries only took a drizzle of oil to cook, and they came out evenly cooked thanks to the wide basket distribution.
Things to note
This air fryer is a little larger than the earlier Cosori models. The Cosori CP358-AF Pro Air Fryer struggled to fit under our tester’s kitchen cabinets, so if you do struggle with kitchen space, it’s not the one for you.

In order to test the air fryer, I decided to air fry some frozen chicken drumsticks. First, I preheat the air fryer to 350°F. Then, I placed the chicken drumsticks into the air fryer basket, making sure that they are spaced out evenly. Let the chicken cook for 30 minutes, then increase the temperature to 400°F for 5 minutes to brown the skin. The result turns out to be quite good, I managed to get a crispy and crunchy skin that I wanted for the chicken drumsticks.

The Cosori Smart Wifi Air Fryer 5.8qt wont win any design awards but in all fairness, we cant think of any air fryer that will. It’s a big black box with a protruding handle for removing the cooking basket and comes with a smooth digital control panel. The buttons for the various functions are small and the preprogrammed settings are indicated by little icons, such as a carrot for vegetables and a fish for seafood. When its not operating, the display goes to sleep, for a less cluttered look.
Approximately a 12-inch square, this is not a small appliance and it will take up some space on your kitchen countertop, as well as in a cabinet or closet if you dont opt to keep it permanently on the counter. However, it is average in size for an air fryer.

For our final test, my wife found a recipe for an entrée. I thinly sliced peppers and onions, seasoned them, and put them in the middle of a small, round baker. I cut a pork tenderloin into slices, rubbed them with powdered mustard, salt, and pepper, and then put them over the vegetables. I put the baker into the basket, and cooked the whole thing for 15 minutes on 350°F, pausing halfway through to mix them up. The result was super yummy, though very different from the other tests. The meat was tender and juicy, and the peppers and onions were soft yet slightly crunchy. The big difference between this and the other tests was the baker, which trapped the juices and reduced the crispiness of the tenderloin slices. This recipe really shows the flexibility of the air fryer: It can cook foods that are typically fried, like chicken and French fries, yet it can also cook like a traditional oven . If you were concerned that an air fryer can only fry less-than-healthy foods, then rest assured that you can cook a whole variety of meats, vegetables, and other foods and eat as healthy as you want.

Programming the digital control panel on the Cosori Smart Wifi Air Fryer is completely intuitive. However, the buttons can be just a tad sluggish to respond and when youre setting a time and go from a default of 20 minutes down to 5, it can be tedious unless you hold your finger down on the button continuously. Theres an outer basket and an inner basket. To separate the two baskets for cleaning, you need to slide the cover back and press a button which can be slightly tricky.
During cooking, the exterior of the Cosori doesnt get so hot that its likely to cause burns. The highest temp we measured was 128°F on one side. The handle and the controls remain at about room temperature. As it operates, the air fryer has a noise level of 65.3dB, which is equivalent to normal room conversation.
