The Black and Decker website has it listed for $59.99, but that price might not include tax or shipping. It recently became available and both Macy’s, and Kohl’s carry the oven. We don’t have a Macy’s nearby but we do have a Kohl’s, which is where we bought the air fryer oven. It was listed at $99, was on sale for $89, and Kohl’s had a 20% off coupon bringing the price down to $74 including tax. Plus, we got $10 in Kohl’s cash.

The price at Kohl’s has dropped from $99 to $79, and the price at B& D has jumped from $59 to $79, and even though they’ve raised the price it’s showing as sold out. It’s not on the website yet so you’ll need to contact them at the Black and Decker website and they’ll send it via email. The cooking guide is only two pages – one page has an air frying chart for the more popular foods, and the other page has three basic recipes kale chips, fries, and Buffalo turkey burgers, – but it’s a start, and hopefully they’ll add more information in the future.

They’re called the Black and Decker Crisp ‘N Bake Air Fry Convection Countertop Ovens, and the model number for the one in this review is TO3215SS. The B& D air fryer oven also comes in a wide version which is model number TO3265XSSD, and the wide model measures 21.5 inches long instead of 18 inches long. *Note – the model numbers use capital “Os” , not zeroes. If you use zeroes instead of Os, you’ll probably get a Black and Decker weedwhacker instead of an air fryer toaster oven.

The dials on the Cuisinart are easy to turn and completely intuitive to set. However, as they arent digital and dont click into place at the various settings, theyre hard to set precisely. With the Cuisinart you get an oven rack, an air fryer basket, a baking pan, and a drip tray. Each time you use it, you have to determine which accessories to use and where to position them in the oven.
During use, the dials and the handle stay cool to the touch and the stainless steel top and sides dont get hot enough to cause burns, however the glass door reaches 259°F, which is dangerously hot. The Cuisinart is exceptionally quiet as it air fries, with a dBA reading of 54.7. This was one of the quietest air fryers we tested. A bright interior light makes it easy to check on food as its cooking.
This model didnt score well for ease of cleaning none of the accessories are coated with a nonstick finish and Cuisinart doesnt recommend popping them in the dishwasher. So, It can take a bit of elbow grease to scrub off bits and pieces from the air fryer basket and burnt-on grease from the baking pan. When you cook something like chicken wings in the air fryer, juices and fat drip down onto the heating elements, which are not removable and not easy to clean. The walls of the oven are coated with a finish that makes them easy to wipe clean, but it is a bit tricky to reach into the oven to get to all the surfaces.

I would never have considered buying the Cuisinart TOA-65 Air Fryer Toaster Oven, but I’ve changed my mind after testing it. I have a small son and quickly cooking a quesadilla for his dinner or baking a couple of cookies was made infinitely easier by this appliance. I’ve found lots of reasons not to turn on the oven or stovetop. Plus, I can air fry and dehydrate!
If you’re into kitchen gadgets but want to streamline and downsize, then the TOA-65 is perfect for you. If you wish you had a second oven or dont have one at all then it’s also your best bet. Its smart, compact and a workhorse. It will earn its place on the countertop.
