You may recognize this Nuwave Air Fryer as the as seen on TV model featured in infomercials. Also known as Nuwave Brio, this brand comes in a standard size too, but for this review we are focused on the bigger model.
This extra large Nuwave Air Fryer has a 6 quart interior cooking capacity and a digital control panel with adjustable temperature range and multi-hour timer. About 60% of owners think its great while a significant number of others complain that it quit working prematurely. Compared to other extra large air fryers, the Nuwave sells for a great price, but you may want to also purchase the extra protection plan that Amazon offers.

No, that 100 hour timer is not a typo, but total programmable time depends on the cooking temperature you choose:
- High Temp, 350 to 390°F maximum cooking time is 1 hour
- Low to Medium Temp, 100 to 345°F maximum cooking time is 99 hours and 59 minutes
Personally, Ive never cooked anything that took longer than 45 minutes in an air fryer, nor have I seen any recipes calling for more than an hour cooking time. I cant think why that 100 hour option is an advantage. For safety reasons, the idea of programming this Nuwave for multiple hours seems a bit on the absurd side. Easy Air Fryer Recipes
First up on our list is air fryer bacon. This is really one of the easiest recipes because all you need to do is put the bacon in the air fryer in a single layer. I like to use wright brand thick cut bacon and I cut it in half so it will fit in the air fryer. The air fryer I use is 5.7 quarts so that will hold about 5 pieces of bacon cut in half. If your air fryer is smaller, it would not hold as much.

I set the temperature of the air fryer to 350F and I set the time to 9 minutes. If you use thinner bacon, check it after 5 minutes and then every minute after that because it will cook fast!
A quick tip on cooking bacon in the air fryer. If you want to cook more than one batch, make sure you drain the grease after each cook time. It will start to smoke if you don’t.
Next on my list of easy air fryer recipes is chicken wings. I will never cook chicken wings any other way again! They come out perfectly and so crispy! Plus, no dirty oven pan!
I always spray my air fryer with cooking spray when I make chicken wings because they are prone to sticking. I lay them in a single layer and I pat them dry with paper towels. Then I season with salt and pepper.
Now we just cook them at 380F for 25 minutes. I like to open the air fryer basket every 5 minutes or so and shake them so they cook evenly .
After the 25 minutes are up, I increase the temperature to 400F and cook for 3-5 minutes more.
