I was just barley able to fit a five pound chicken in my 5.6 quart Foodi Pro. If the Foodi won’t close with the chicken in the basket, you can try placing it on the trivet that comes with your machine. Doing this will give you a little more space to work with.

I examined both the color and texture of the skin as well as the texture of the meat. I made sure that the chicken was juicy and perfectly cooked through, and I also noted if any of the meat stuck to the inside of the oven. Lastly, I baked chocolate chip cookies and examined how crispy or moist they came out to test the baking capabilities of this fryer.
