The answer is yes for the most part. One study has proven that air fried foods have significantly less fat than deep fried foods. Fried foods have long been linked to health problems because of their high fat and calorie content.
However, because air fryers reduce the amount of oil being used by 70% to 80%, the fewer the fat and calories absorbed into the food, leaving a relatively healthier product.
Of course, you need to remember that fried foods are still fried at the end of the day. Air fried chicken may be healthier than traditional fried chicken, but it still has more fat than oven-roasted or grilled chicken.

How To Cook Frozen Tilapia In The Air Fryer
Before freezing your tilapia, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with the seasoning mixture like usual. Then, instead of placing it in the air fryer, seal the fillets in plastic zipper bags.
Wrap the bags in foil, then store them in the freezer until youre ready to cook.
To cook the frozen fillets:
STEP ONE: Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees F. Spray the inner basket with cooking oil.
STEP TWO: Remove the fillets from the tin foil and plastic bag, then place the frozen tilapia in the air fryer in a single layer. Spritz with cooking oil.
STEP THREE: Cook for 13 minutes until heated through, flipping the fillets halfway.
STEP FOUR: Remove them from the air fryer and enjoy!
