Its so easy to use
I can be a bit of an idiot with new appliances and this did not require a lot of figuring out. There are two settings cooking time and temperature just set those and GO! The temperature control is really simple and the temperature range is 175F to 400F and you can cook from anywhere to 1 to 30 minutes. Once its done cooking, it switches to standby mode. I also like that it has a cool touch handle and button guard so that you dont have to worry about accidentally burning yourself or dumping out your food. I need idiot proof and this is that!

Its very easy to clean
The basket is non stick, so even the messiest dishes are easy to clean.
Its just big enough
The 2.75 qt. capacity is perfect for cooking for one or two people. If you have a family Id probably recommend something a little bigger but for me its just the right amount of food. It can make 8 bagel balls or a heaping portion of vegetables for two people. Again I do not have a lot of counter space so this is important!!!!

The Ninja Speedi Rapid Cooker and Air Fryer is one of the newest air fryers we’ve tested. While it looks different and is somewhat larger than most air fryers on the market, it’s worth making room for on your counter. The 12-in-1 appliance not only air fries well and quickly, but it works similarly to a multicooker , and can be used to sear, sauté, bake, roast, broil, steam, slow cook, proof, cook sous vide and even dehydrate. It can also steam and bake/air fry at the same for the juiciest and most flavorful results.
One of the most impressive things it can do is cook quick one-pot meals by cooking the base like pasta, rice or quinoa on the bottom of the square basket and the toppings like chicken, shrimp or meatballs on the top level. It doesn’t require any additional accessories, just the included perforated tray, which is used for air frying and steaming in the lower position and crisping/broiling in the upper position. The tray and six-quart basket are ceramic coated, like the other Ninja air fryers, and they’re easy to clean by hand or in the dishwasher. We found the Speedi simple to program and liked the clear control panel, and the user guide is loaded with helpful instructions, tips and colorful recipes.
Are Air Fryers Worth It
Air fryers are worth it if you like to cook foods quickly with minimal cleanup. Sure, some are bulky and may feel like a usurper of your counter space, but most people who use them learn the benefits right away. They’re especially great for prepackaged frozen foods and leftovers, like french fries or dumplings, that would normally get soggy or rubbery in a microwave. In the Kitchen Appliances Lab, we like using ours for quick dinners. All types of proteins, like chicken, pork chops and salmon, cook up quickly and become golden brown and juicy veggies become nicely blistered or caramelized. We especially like air frying root vegetables, like mini potatoes and diced butternut squash and beets.

Would I Buy It
I did a full test on the Emeril Lagassepower air fryer using a lot of the functions it offered. I would say that itdid quite well considering the range that it offers.
I think there is a lot to be said forhaving a larger oven in your kitchen. It does give you that much moreflexibility.
Nothing went wrong in my tests, on thecontrary it cooked everything welljust like the adverts I saw on TV!
I was very impressed with the air fryer function as this is principally why it was tested. Following this test, I also tested the slow cook function and a number of other things, like chicken wings, all of them performing well.
A downside is the extra things that youhave to buy, it would have been nice for them to include a few moreaccessories. They arent to expensive to buy so it wasnt a deal breaker but I justthink it gives the buyer more value while not costing them much at all.
Overall, I recommend the Emeril Lagasse power air fryer as a buy but only if you think you will make the most of the functionality it offers. If you dont need all those functions, you can spend less on a simple air fryer oven.

The GoWISE USA Air Fryer Oven has nine accessories are included that allow you to do many things that a conventional air fryer, oven, toaster oven, convection oven, rotisserie oven and pizza grill does.

Everyone of these accessories except the drip pan are made of stainless steel and can be easily cleaned up either by hand or the dishwasher. The drip pan is nonstick coated and FDA certified, PFOA free and BPA free. As with all nonstick coated items, I recommend you use warm soapy water and a wash rag to hand clean them. Even though the manufacturer states they can be cleaned by dishwasher, I find the surfaces last a lot longer if I dont expose them to the high temperature and dishwasher chemicals. In some of the information, I have found it is strongly recommended not to use the new dishwasher pod type of soap. If youre going to wash them in the dishwasher use the old-style granule soap.
There is only one rotisserie rod to work with the three rotisserie attachments. The rod comes with two forks the hold your item you are cooking.
The rotisserie basket is used to cook items like French fries, jalapeno poppers, breaded mushrooms, vegetables, etc. The great advantage to the rotisserie basket is you dont have to turn your food while cooking. You can set your time/temperature and your food will cook evenly by using the rotating basket.

Capacity And Counter Space
The GoWise air fryers nearly 6-quart capacity allows for more than enough space to cook dinner for four. In fact, the fryer basket is large enough to fit an entire chicken, and was wide enough that a large batch of fries or frozen chicken nuggets could all lay flat in a single layer for optimally even cooking. It was easy to cook plenty of food without overcrowding the fryer basket, which could result in less crispness on the food. When I cooked a couple chicken breasts over fingerlings, both cooked through evenly, and came out with a nice crisp browning. Although the potatoes took a few extra minutes, it was a good chance for them to develop some more browning without the chicken which may have slightly impeded cooking.
The generous capacity, though, means that this air fryer is a significant space commitment on your countertop. Although its not heavy, the bulky design would make it somewhat difficult to move back and forth between a cabinet and the countertop. At 12.5 inches wide, 13.5 inches deep, and 14.5 inches tall, the GoWise air fryer will likely be one of the larger appliances in your kitchen.

This air fryer oven touts 14 functions , which certainly sounds impressive, but we’re not sure we’d use them all. Setting up the rotisserie chicken, for example, was quite complicated. We also ran cooking tests to see if the GoWise USA Air Fryer is worth the hype. For this test, we decided to cook chicken wings and french fries.
We cooked the fries using the French Fries Preset and cooked the chicken wings with our cooking settings at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes. In both instances, we preheated the cooking chamber for 3 minutes.
While cooking, we were shaking the basket of french fries every 5 minutes to make sure that every fry is cooked to perfection. Similarly, we flipped the wings to the other side after 10 minutes.
The results: both were golden and crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The chicken wings were notably darker in color, so perhaps we can also achieve that result if we keyed in our cooking settings for the fries. Nevertheless, they were both flavorful, so we were quite impressed.
So as far as the cooking tests are concerned, the GoWise USA 8-in-1 Digital Air Fryer surely passed our standards.

If you want more even cooking on all the racks, you have to rotate the racks often to the bottom can be switched to the top and vice versa. Theres no shaking the food with these models. You have to pull out the rack, then flip the food.
