I purchased it, brought it home, and have been using it for the last 6 months. Overall, I would have to say that there are some things that I love, and some things that I dont love about my Gourmia Air Fryer.

How Did It Work
When I purchased the Gourmia Air Fryer at Costco I had no idea what to expect as I have never owned an air fryer.
Also, I had heard that air frying food is healthier than using oil, so I figured it would be perfect for trying out some healthy recipes.
I also had no idea what was the best air fryer to purchase. Since this air fryer was on sale at Costco for less than $50 USD then I figured that It would be a perfect entry level air fryer to see if I liked using it.
Of course I read the reviews on costco.com before purchasing and there were over 3000 positive reviews with over a 4.5 star rating.
I was skeptical about buying an air fryer because some people say that they can have a plastic smell when cooking.
I also knew that if I had this issue that I could just return it because the Costco Return Policy is so great.
When I first researched using a brand new air fryer, some people recommended running the air fryer a few times without food in it just to burn off the excess plastic smell, so this is what I did.
While there was a slight smell when first using it, it was not anything too strong.
Also, after using it a couple of times there were not any plastic smells.
Overall I am very happy with my purchase!
I have used it to cook so many foods like salmon and chicken. All the food has been really easy to cook and tastes perfect.
It is also very convenient for cooking frozen foods.

While there’s generally no or very little oil used, the results can be similar to that of traditional frying in that food comes out crispy on the outside and moist on the inside.

Review The Experience Of Using The Gourmia 4 Quart Air Fryer
After a year of using this Gourmia 4 Quart Air Fryer, I can say that its still working perfectly.
I found the power of this air fryer to be almost on pace with the Ninja and Dash ovens, and this 5-quart oven cooked chicken wings very well, with crispy skin and juicy cores. Additionally, it produced toasty mozzarella sticks with a gooey middle and extremely crispy french fries.
This machine has a minor flaw in that it is built a little awkwardly. Although it didnt influence how I used the basket in any way, it didnt slide into the oven as smoothly as you might have liked, which could ultimately cause issues.
Additionally, this air fryer has many presets, which I normally dislike because they dont take into consideration how much food youre cooking or factors like the size of, say, a chicken wing or the thickness of your french fries.
The first few times you prepare something, Ive found its always better to use a rough preset recommendation and lots of progress checking. You can then discover the ovens capabilities for yourself.
Having said that, this 4-quart digital air fryer is a fantastic size for most kitchens and offers a lot of power for the money.

You can easily program the digital controls without referring to the manual. When you press the buttons they respond zippily. Its also easy to pull the basket out of the unit and place it back inside. Inside the basket theres a rack on which you place your food.
During cooking, the plastic housing on the bottom of the sides reached temperatures as high as 157°F, which is way too hot to touch. So, you will need to keep an eye on any small children while its in use. The handles and controls remain at room temp. As it operates, the Gourmia has a dBA reading of 60, which is just above the average noise produced from an air fryer about the equivalent to a humming air conditioner.
Both the basket and the rack are coated with a nonstick finish which makes them easy to clean if you choose to wash them by hand, but you also have the option of putting them in the top rack of the dishwasher.
