Air Fry Feature Could Use Improvements

We followed user manual instructions to make French fries. After air-frying for 25 minutes at 425°F in Air Fry mode, the fries came out mostly overcooked, with many of them burnt. That being said, if you play around with your own trial and error and keep an eye on them, you should have more success achieving evenly air fried foods.

Why It Stands Out To Us

The pre-heating feature in this oven is just perfect. It only took less than 10 minutes to pre-heat the oven before baking. Even with other induction range ovens, the duration is never less than 10 minutes.

The oven comes with 5 burners which have enough spaces between them to allow for using more than one at the same time. Even if you are using large cooking pots, you can still use the 5 burners at a time.

When it comes to true convection, the oven is one to rely on. You can try both true convection and standard cooking to know the difference.

My Frigidaire Air Fry Range Review

In my opinion that was not paid for or sponsored in any way I absolutely think this Frigidaire Range with Air Fry is worth the money. Especially if you can catch it on sale. I still have not had a chance to use all the features on this range and I have yet to be disappointed. I love cooking, but now I am really really enjoying cooking with this new range. It was a dramatic upgrade from my electric coil stove that was about 10 years old. My pots and pans would slide off the uneven burners and canning on it in the fall was a joke. I actually preferred my camp stove in the backyard over my old stove/range.

What Could Be Improved and Why

While the pre-heating feature gives ideal results, we believe it would be even better if it takes less time. Maybe decreasing the time a few more minutes would make it more than perfect.

It has been on the market since 2019 and is the first to feature the air fry capability in a full-size oven, and is now widely available at big box home improvement stores. Before we get too far into my personal review of this range I want to discuss the burning question. Isnt an air fryer and a convection oven the same thing?
